Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you order equipment through the NextCar shop.

  1. 1.Company identification

    Next Car ehf, Njarðarbraut 3L, 260 Reykjanesbær, Iceland.

    Company registration number (kennitala): 430626-0940. VAT number (VSK): 161920.

    For questions or disputes about an order, use the contact form at /contact. A dedicated phone line and e-mail address have not been published yet.

  2. 2.Scope & acceptance

    These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the NextCar online shop (equipment sourced from REDATS and FCAR, shipped by weekly consolidated container from Poland).

  3. 3.Products & equipment sales

    Equipment is sourced from REDATS and FCAR and, for most items, ordered in as part of the weekly consolidated shipment rather than held in local stock. Items shown as available at the Keflavík showroom are the exception.

    Product availability and pricing come from supplier data feeds and can change before your order is placed. If a listing error is found, we correct it before your order ships, and contact you first if the correction affects price or availability.

  4. 4.Pricing & payment

    • Payment is 100% upfront, in Icelandic króna (ISK), through Rapyd.
    • The price shown on the listing, product page, cart and checkout is final and already includes duty and VAT. It does not change between those steps.
    • No partial payments or deposits are offered for equipment orders.

  5. 5.Container schedule & delivery timing

    Delivery dates are estimates tied to that week’s sailing and customs schedule, shown at checkout and in your order confirmation. They are not a guaranteed delivery date.

  6. 6.Risk transfer & title

  7. 7.Cancellations before shipment

    Before your order is allocated to a container run and the purchase order is sent to the supplier (order status “new” or “confirmed” in your account), you can cancel it yourself from your account page for an immediate refund through Rapyd.

    Once the purchase order has been sent to the supplier, self-service cancellation is no longer available. The statutory right of withdrawal below applies instead.

  8. 8.Returns, exchanges & warranty claims

    • Transport damage or a wrong item: contact us within 48 hours of pickup with your order number and photos. We take it up with the supplier or freight forwarder to establish where in the chain the damage happened.
    • If your item is no longer available by the time we place the purchase order (re-checked against supplier stock before sending it), we contact you to choose a replacement, joining the next container run, or a refund through Rapyd.
    • The manufacturer’s warranty (REDATS or FCAR) and NextCar’s own statutory seller’s warranty are tracked separately, not combined into a single guarantee.

  9. 9.Workshop services terms

  10. 10.Liability limitations

  11. 11.Consumer rights (EEA/Iceland)

    Consumers in the EEA generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance purchase. That period can extend up to 12 months if the order confirmation does not include a withdrawal form on a durable medium (for example, as a PDF attached to your confirmation e-mail).

    We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published on this page at the time you place it. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
