Semi-automatic two post lift 4T - REDATS L-255
This is a semi-automatic two-post lift with a top beam and a 4T lifting capacity. It is a great option for car service with limited space. Compared to the L-250 model, it gives you more flexibility - including a wider arm length range and a greater lifting height.
How is the L-255 different from the L-250?
There are several differences. The main ones are:
Wider arm adjustment range
On the L-255, the arm length range is 620-1260 mm. On the L-250, it is 705-1228 mm. This gives you more flexibility when positioning the lifting points under different vehicles.
Greater maximum vehicle width
The L-255 can handle vehicles up to 2610 mm wide. On the L-250, the maximum vehicle width is 2576 mm. This gives you a bit more room when working with wider vehicles.
Greater lifting height
On the L-255, the maximum lifting height is 1960 mm. On the L-250, it is 160 mm lower. This gives you more working space under the vehicle and easier access to the underbody, suspension, and other components underneath.

Delivery & warranty
- Shared container
- Your order travels in the weekly consolidated shipment from Poland. Orders in the same container split the freight instead of each paying for a separate parcel. The full cycle is on the delivery and returns page.
- Damaged or wrong item
- Contact us within 48 hours of pickup with your order number and photos of the item and the packaging. We settle it with the supplier or the freight forwarder by hand. See delivery and returns for the procedure.
- Warranty
- The warranty for this item is in its technical data above. Most of the catalog lists 24 months, a few list 12 or 36, and some items carry no warranty line at all. The technical data on this page is what counts.

Why do I pay 100% upfront?
We do not hold the equipment in stock in Keflavík. We order it from REDATS or FCAR once your order is paid, and it joins the next container from Poland. Payment is in Icelandic króna through Straumur. There are no deposits or instalments on equipment. Until the purchase order goes to the supplier, you can cancel by contacting us and get a full refund to your card.
Will anything be added to the price — duty, VAT?
The price we give you — on the listing or in a quote — is final and already includes duty and VAT. It does not change between the cart and checkout, and nothing is added after you buy.
How long will my order take?
21 calendar days from the payment clearing. That is the deadline we commit to on the order and the one in your confirmation. Dates depend on that week’s sailing and customs clearance, so treat them as a planned deadline, not a guaranteed hour.
Where do I collect the equipment?
At Njarðarbraut 3L in Keflavík — the workshop and the showroom share that address. Delivery to an address can be arranged; ask with your order or write to office@nextcar.is and we will confirm which applies to yours.
I am not sure which model to pick — can you help?
Yes, and it is the point of how we work: the same equipment is running in our own bays. Write to office@nextcar.is or call, tell us what cars you work on and how much space you have, and you get an answer from use, not from a spec sheet.
Can I see the machine before buying?
That is what the showroom in Keflavík is for. Come and watch the machine run, and talk to whoever used it last. A large prepayment to a supplier you do not know is a real risk — we would rather you saw the machine than guessed.
How does the warranty work?
The manufacturer’s warranty (REDATS or FCAR) and our own statutory seller’s liability are tracked separately — we do not merge them into one blanket "guaranteed". The details are in the terms.
